Gifts & Premium Fair and Printing & Packaging Fair Attract 64,000+ Buyers
Last week, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) concluded its 31st Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), and the 11th Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE).
Both fairs ran April 27-30, attracting a total of more than 64,000 buyers from 134 countries and regions.
Co-organised with the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA), the Gifts & Premium Fair featured a record of more than 4,300 exhibitors from 35 countries and regions, with first time participants from Estonia and South Africa.
According to the organisers, approximately 50,000 buyers attended the fair during the four days.
The Printing & Packaging Fair was co-organised by the HKTDC and CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Ltd.
The fair featured a record of 430 exhibitors offering the latest printing and packaging products, materials, technology and related services and attracting over 14,000 buyers.
According to the HKTDC, a total of 171 buying missions from 75 countries and regions were organised during the two fairs.
Benjamin Chau, HKTDC deputy executive director, said, “The Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair continues to be the world’s largest fair for gifts and premium products. This is testament to the fair’s position as a major sourcing and promotion platform for the industry worldwide. The concurrent Printing & Packaging Fair creates business synergy with the Gifts Fair. Together they provide a wide range of choices in gifts, innovative designs, green printing and intricate packaging products and solutions, matching the sourcing needs of global buyers.”
