January 26, 2016

Dallas-based Freeman has acquired another general service contracting company, Metropolitan Exposition Services.

Located in Moonachie, N.J., and founded in 2001, Metro produces more than 300 shows nationwide annually.

“New York market is very important to Freeman’s clients. We are honored to have the opportunity to support Metro and its clients through this transition,” said Joe Popolo, CEO of Freeman.

He added, “The Metro team has built a lot of strong client relationships with a team of highly skilled professionals who share our values of integrity, empathy, and a commitment to customer service,”

To assist Metro’s clients with this transition, Freeman and Metropolitan Exposition Services have signed formal agreement which is expected to close this month.

“Freeman is known for outstanding customer service and stability, which includes a broad range of best-in-class services, technologies, and solutions,” said Bobby Lee, Metro’s president and founding partner.

He added, “Metro’s customers will have direct access to the deep pool of resources and experience available within the overall Freeman network, such as access to the largest suite of exposition services in the industry, the highest quality of work, an unwavering commitment to customer service, and the latest technology.”

Metropolitan has services in New Jersey and Nevada and some of the employees will transition over to Freeman to continue to support existing contracts.
