On May 29, 2024, the 17th China Retailers Conference and Retail Business Intelligent Equipment and Commodity Expo, Asian Commercial Payment, Cashier System and Equipment Exhibition was successfully held in Hall 9.2, Zone B, China Import and Export Fair Complex, bringing together 80 domestic and foreign participating commercial payment and cashier companies, buyers from 36 countries around the world, and the support and attention of colleagues in the industry across the country, as well as the trust and support of the China General Chamber of Commerce and Guangdong Hongwei International Exhibition Group.

As an annual event in the retail industry; smart retail industry, this expo focused on displaying new products in the self-service vending and smart retail industries, commercial refrigeration, cold chain, commercial payment and cashier systems, smart display, supermarket equipment, commercial lighting, commercial display technology, smart information and the Internet of Things, retail famous products, beverages and other fields. The exhibition lasted for three days and attracted 87,900 retail terminal buyers and professional audiences such as importers and exporters, and buyers to come to exchange and discuss. Carrying on the past and forging ahead, we will do better than the next session!

In 2023, these efforts supported over 3,500 jobs across more than 30 states, contributed over $214 million in income for diverse-owned businesses and generated more than $62 million in tax revenue. The story extends beyond the numbers – it reflects the tangible benefits brought to small and diverse-owned businesses, fostering economic empowerment in their communities.    MGM Resorts also supports the development and business skills of diverse-owned businesses through investment, mentorship and education. Through the MGM Resorts Supplier Diversity Mentorship Program, the company identifies, mentors and develops diverse-owned businesses to fill its future pipeline, while providing businesses with tools and resources to empower and uplift.
