The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) is launching two new members-only events in 2025: the Organizer Insights Summit and Half-Day Healthcare Forum will both be held on June 25 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, preceding the IAEE Leadership Institute. One will be held in the morning and one in the afternoon, with a joint lunch for networking provided from 12 to 1:30 p.m. ET.

Trade show platform Trifecta Collective LLC, owned and backed by lower middle market PE firm GreyLion, acquired the Canadian Concrete Expo (CCE), a trade show that serves the concrete, construction, and aggregates industries in Canada. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 7th annual CCE was held Feb. 12-13 at Toronto’s International Centre and featured more 350 exhibiting companies and 7,000 attendees spanning more than 120,000 square feet of exhibit space.

The city of Austin, Texas, is about to see a change to its skyline. On February 25, the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD) unveiled the first renderings of the new Austin Convention Center, dubbed “Unconventional ATX.” The $1.6 billion project is expected to redefine the city’s event landscape with more space, innovative design, and a commitment to sustainability.

In its 39th year, Vision Expo East ditched its longtime roots in New York City for Orlando, Fla., where thousands of eyecare and eyewear professionals descended on the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) from Feb. 19-22.
