Expo Logic Launches LeadPod, Lead Retrieval Mobile App for iOS

May 26, 2013

Expo Logic, a trade show services company that specializes in event registration and lead retrieval, now is offering LeadPod, the company’s first lead retrieval app for mobile devices.

“The use of smart phones for lead retrieval systems is an emerging and growing trend in the trade show industry,” says Jeff Cooper, president and CEO of Expo Logic.

He added, “We’ve developed a proprietary lead retrieval app in-house, based on the feedback and needs of our clients, to make the lead retrieval process that much simpler and useful.”

LeadPod is a handheld lead retrieval system that helps organizers capture and manage leads right from a mobile device.

Developed for Apple’s iOS, Expo Logic’s LeadPod is currently featured on an iDevice that sits in a custom sled with an integrated scanner, both of which are rented from Expo Logic.

After scanning a badge, lead information is immediately displayed and stored on the device. Post show, leads are accessed via a password protected portal.

The use of a lead retrieval app on a separate device, rather than the exhibitor’s phone, helps preserve the battery life of one’s personal phone.

Here are some of the LeadPod highlights:

·     iOS-based solution

·     All hardware provided by Expo Logic

·     Lead data is shown on the device when captured

·     Leads are stored in real-time

·     Real-time with registration data

·     Notes and action codes can be applied to lead

·     Leads are stored in a password protected portal post-show.
