Inaugural Mining Conference & Expo Surpasses 250 Exhibitor Mark
The inaugural International Mining Conference & Expo (IMEX2014) has just surpassed the 250 exhibitor mark, just weeks before the show runs Sept. 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
IMEX2014 is designed to provide operators with a forum to evaluate suppliers with an objective of improving productivity and operational efficiencies.
Interest for this new event has been very strong and the pace of new exhibitor signups has been increasing.
Event organizers, SEMCO PRODUCTIONS, a Mining Media International Company, expects well more than 250 exhibitors, in addition to 1,000 qualified attendees.
“We’re very gratified and excited by the interest in this event,” said Show Director Tim Fearney.
He added, “We’ve found that many suppliers to the mining industry needed a forum to introduce their new technologies to the marketplace on a more regular basis than perhaps they were able to before.”
IMEX2014 is centered on a comprehensive conference program that features five separate tracks dealing with a wide range of mining issues: Surface Mining, Underground Mining, Mine Haulage, Mineral Processing and Global Investment.
The conference program will focus on operational efficiencies for mine operators and the opportunities available around the world for the mining community.
Attendees will take part in a three-day event featuring: 70 Conference Sessions & Workshops, a wealth of knowledge from internationally recognized mining professionals, unlimited networking opportunities and sourcing.
Attendees are expected from around the globe with particular emphasis on Latin America, North America, Australia, China, India, Russia and Western Europe.
Mining Media International, an industry leader in the mining, publishes titles such as Coal Age, Engineering and Mining Journal, Equipo Minero, The Asia Miner & Mining and Technology Australia.
