Bizzabo’s Latest On-Site Software Aims to Enhance the Check-In Experience

May 7, 2019

End-to-end event success platform Bizzabo has released its next-generation, all-in-one suite of onsite technology designed to foster a more rewarding and less stressful check-in process at trade shows and events of all sizes. The launch comes on the heels of Bizzabo’s $27 million Series D financing round.

Developed in response to the rising demand for ways to improve and elevate the event check-in experience, the new custom-tailored software includes everything from innovative kiosks to lead collection tools and white glove onsite service, according to Bizzabo officials.

“Thanks to research gathered from working with thousands of leading event marketers, we’ve been able to calculate the impact of first impressions created during check-in at events,” said Eran Ben-Shushan, Bizzabo CEO and co-founder.

He continued, “It turns out, a first impression created at check-in directly affects the overall success of an event. This is why we created our new holistic suite of check-in solutions, to establish a touchstone for the process and to answer the call for a more personalized, streamlined and resilient check-in operation.”

Bizzabo’s check-in tool can be customized to address each event marketer’s needs, including:

  • Choosing the right check-in flow
  • Self-service and assisted check-in technology
  • Wristband printing
  • Signature collection
  • Session tracking
  • RFID technology
  • Walk-ins
  • On-demand badge printing
  • Session tracking and access control
  • Personalized messages and notifications upon check-in

In addition, the software integrates with Bizzabo’s secure cloud and eliminates any need for additional vendors. Designed with failover capability throughout the entire check-in lifecycle, it will function even in the event of a network outage. This ensures that the process is consistent, even if the venue’s Wi-Fi isn’t.

“Bizzabo’s solution has allowed us to personalize our onsite event experience for every single attendee,” said Bradley Foster, chief growth officer at Cult Collective, creators of The Gathering, an exclusive event for leading global brands. “A seamless check-in not only elevates the experience we provide for our event-goers, but it’s also at the core of how we think about event success.”

Bizzabo’s onsite tools have also enabled global employee engagement company Reward Gateway to personalize how it engages with its event attendees as well as interact with them in new ways, according to Charlie Taylor, head of UK growth marketing & PR at Reward Gateway.

“Our annual events program unites hundreds of HR leaders globally, creating a special community where they can share and learn from each other, and it’s vital we have a tool that delivers a great attendee experience,” Taylor explained. “Because the solution handles everything from check-in and badge printing to check-in notifications and session tracking, we are able to enhance the power of our event.”
