The 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) appears to already be breaking its own showfloor records eight months prior to the event.
The annual feed, meat, egg and poultry trade show, which is scheduled for Feb. 12-14 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, has already surpassed 560,000 square feet of exhibit space while securing more than 1,100 exhibitors booking up 92 percent of the expo floor.
The 2018 edition of IPPE attracted 30,678 attendees and 1,218 exhibitors spanning more than 521,000 square feet of expo space.

UBM Sinoexpo, a subsidiary of UBM plc, acquired 70 percent economic interest in the Shanghai International Franchise Exhibition ("SFE") organised by Shanghai Exhibition-Conference Ltd (SEC).
Organised twice a year since 2005, SFE is one of the largest franchising events in China hosting 221 exhibitors with more than 450 brands and 50,261 visitors in the spring 2018 edition.
SFE's exhibitors are mainly in the food, beverage and retail sectors, which is reflective of the trends in the Chinese franchise market today.

The inaugural edition of SILMO Bangkok, an optical and eyewear exhibition targeting the ASEAN region, will be held at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center running from 20th to 22nd June 2018.
SILMO Bangkok will be organised by IMPACT Exhibition Management Company and it is expected that approximately 250 brands to be showcased at the show. UBM India opened its Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair 2018 on 8th June at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The three-day show concluded on 10th June.
More than 200 exhibitors attended the show, including jewellery brands, wholesalers, retailers, importers and exporters, jewellery manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, diamond, gemstone, pearl suppliers and traders, precious metal and jewellery traders.

The 15th edition of THAIFEX-World of Food Asia concluded earlier this month, attracting a record of over 62,000 trade visitors, an increase of nearly 13% compared with the previous edition in 2017.
Running Nay 29 to June 2, at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, the five-day show occupied an exhibition area of 107,000 m2, featuring 2,537 exhibitors, a 17% increase year-on-year. Later this year, Sri Lanka will launch a new B2B exhibition addressing the garment and textile machinery segment. The event, InMac, aims to cover the South Asian textile and apparel manufacturing industry by bringing exhibitors from around the region.
Organised by Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Pvt. Ltd., the new show will run from 14th to 16th November 2018 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre (SLECC). Hosted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), Asian Attractions Expo 2018 took place June 5-8, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong.
Preliminary estimates indicate the Expo attracted more than 9,000 participants, including 6,500 qualified buyers and 393 exhibiting companies. Increases in participants, buyers, and exhibiting companies from 2017's event in Singapore reflect the strength and energy of the global attractions industry. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) signed a cooperation agreement with Veronafiere S.p.A. to bring wineries from Italy to Hong Kong to exhibit at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair.
Veronafiere, through its Vinitaly brand, has been in partnership with the HKTDC since 2009, primarily promoting Italian companies through its Vinitaly Pavilion at the Wine & Spirits Fair.
At the 2018 edition, the Vinitaly Pavilion will launch a new dedicated olive oil section that features a tasting bar as well as workshops.
