A few weeks ago, Messe Frankfurt opened the relocated Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition for the first time at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the China Textile Information Centre.

Reportedly Indonesia’s largest furniture trade show, Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) 2015, ran for four days from 12th to 15th March at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo). Organised by PT Dyandra UBM International, a joint venture company of UBM Asia and Dyandra, IFEX utilised all halls at JIExpo as well as several large temporary halls.

French-based hotel group, Accor, has been appointed as the venue operator of the new Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC). JECC, which opened in November 2014 is located in the industrial-focused area of Sitapura, and sits 5km away from the Jaipur International Airport. The venue was jointly developed by the Dangayach Group and Derewala Group.

Earlier this month, Global Security Asia (GSA) concluded its 6th edition with nearly 200 exhibitors from 32 countries, and welcomed more than 5,000 visitors.
GSA 2015 was held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3rd to 5th March. For the past two years, Emerald Expositions’ Interbike has taken up four halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, and now it’s set to expand to even more space.
The show previously filled halls A, B, C and D in the venue’s South Convention Center area and has added hall E to the mix.
Show management cites several factors contributing to the overall space filling up, including the addition of a new indoor test track, a new Product Innovation Zone, a new food court with seating, on-floor retail education and more.

The World of Asphalt and AGG1 2015 not only scored new attendance records, but also they broke records in number of exhibitors and net square footage.

Exhibit Surveys and Lippman Connects recently teamed up to conduct a study that examined “New Attendee Acquisition Benchmarks & Practices” and, among other findings, a two-thirds majority of the attendee acquisition/attendee marketers respondents said they expected revenue growth.
