Inaugural ISRMAX Asia to Launch in Thailand

The IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. together with India-based Pixie Consulting Solutions will jointly launch the International Sugar, Rice, Maize & Agriculture Expo – ISRMAX Asia 2012. The event will run Aug. 29-31 at Hall 8 of the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.

ISRMAX Asia is supported by the Rice Department of Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Office of Cane and Sugar Board, under the Thai Ministry of Industry, and the Thai Rice Exporter Association. The event will showcase products and services from pre to post harvest in the field of agriculture. Organisers expect more than 170 exhibiting companies from over 10 countries to participate including Thailand, India, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, the U.S. and U.K.

Loy Joon How, general manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management, said, “Asia is the world’s leading rice producers, taking about 90%. Thailand is observed as one of the world leading rice and sugar producers and exporters. With our advantage of the location, it gives us convenient accessibilities in terms of logistics, especially to China, a large agriculture export market. The event is expected get at least 10,000 visitors.”
