Neon is a must-have color for spring, according to the buzz on the showfloor of OFFPRICE Show, the bargain apparel, accessories and footwear show that took place Feb. 17-20 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Owned by U.K.-based Tarsus Group, OFFPRICE was part of the Las Vegas's biannual Fashion Week, which included events at several venues across town, such as the Las Vegas Convention Center and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The show has seen boon times during the recession, with both of its biannual editions being honored as TSNN fastest-growing shows.

In a unique collaboration between the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau and Messe Duesseldorf North America, the two are partnering to launch Medical World Americas April 28-30, 2014, at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center.
Germany-based Messe Duesseldorf organizes MEDICA, the world’s largest annual medical trade fair, with more than 4,500 exhibitors and 130,000 attendees, which Medical World Americas will be modeled after, according to show management.

Last year was a very good one for the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre since it hosted a record-breaking 1,442 events, the highest number recordedsince opening in mid-2005, representing a 7-percent increase from 1,346 held in 2011.
The venue also served more than 1.6 million delegates and visitors, which resulted in an economic impact contribution of RM590 million.
This brings the total number of events held at the Centre between June 2005 and December 2012 to 6,645, with more than 13.7 million delegates and visitors in attendance.

Two new co-located events, P-MEC and InnoPack South East Asia, will be added to this year’s pharmaceutical ingredients trade show, CPhl Southeast Asia. Organised by UBM’s subsidiary, UBM Live, the three-day show will run from 20th to 22nd March 2013 at the Jakarta International Expo in Indonesia.

Exhibition management company, E.J. Krause & Associates (EJK), will join China-based Norinco, to co-organise the Beijing International Emergency Rescue Expo (ERE China) at Beijing’s National Agricultural Exhibition Center this year.
This year’s ERE China will be the third edition in the series, and will showcase the latest technology and products for emergency rescue and disaster management. ERE China will take place from 16th to 18th September 2013.
The previous edition of ERE China took place in August 2012, which attracted 70 exhibiting companies over 6,400 m2 of space.
